Electrician

Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Electrician in Vero Beach, FL. The Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial and service-oriented environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical codes, the ability to troubleshoot complex issues, and the experience necessary to work independently on service-related projects.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $20 to $35 Per Hour BOE

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems including conduit, lighting fixtures, electrical panels, transformers, and switches.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform corrective actions to ensure system reliability.
• Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to identify circuit paths.
• Pull electrical wiring through conduit and connect it to circuit breakers and outlets.
• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using various testing devices to ensure safety and functionality.
• Install and bend conduit to meet specific project and wiring requirements.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with National Electrical Code (NEC) standards and local regulations.
• Document work performed and maintain accurate records of materials used for service calls.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.

• Proven experience in electrical installations and service work within a commercial or industrial setting.
• In-depth knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) standards and safety procedures.
• Possession of necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) and professional hand tools.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a field service environment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to interpret technical drawings.
• Reliable transportation to reach various job locations in the Vero Beach area.

• Must have manual dexterity, a good sense of balance, and excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Must be able to climb stairs, ladders, and poles safely.
• Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits.
• Must be able to work in inclement weather conditions, including extreme heat.
• Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring.
• Must be able to sit, stand, kneel, stoop, walk, and crouch for long periods of time.
• Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
• Must be aware of OSHA safety standards and maintain a safe work environment.

The anticipated pay range for this position is $20 to $35 per hour, based on relevant factors such as experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process by the hiring authority.
