Job Overview

We are seeking a Pipe Excavator Operator in Dane County, WI, who will operate power construction equipment safely and efficiently under the direction of the foreman.

Projects vary by location. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to any site throughout Dane County is required.

• Operate pipe excavator equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow all safety and OSHA requirements.
• Maintain punctuality and work performance.
• Dig trenches and pull trench boxes and plates as needed.

• Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record.
• Class A CDL desired but not required at hire.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent (preferred).
• 3+ years experience in pipe crew operations.
• Knowledge of sloping and trenching techniques for sanitary sewer, water main, and storm sewers.
• Ability to dig inside and pull trench boxes and plates.
