PositionWe are looking for an experienced Laborer to serve as the lead laborer on an underground utility crew. This role supports pipe layers, operators, and the foreman by coordinating labor tasks, maintaining jobsite safety, and ensuring materials and workflow stay organized and efficient. The Lead Laborer is a key crew member who leads by example, helps direct other laborers, and keeps day‑to‑day operations running smoothly.

- Maintain jobsite safety and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Organize materials and workflow to keep operations efficient.

- Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record;
Class
A CDL strongly desired. - High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Punctual, dependable, and able to work varied hours including nights, early mornings, and weekends as needed.
- Able to tolerate and work in variable weather conditions, and in dirty and dusty environments.
- Member of a Local Laborer Union, or willingness to become a union member. Union membership is not required prior to employment.
- 3–5 years of road construction laborer experience required.
- Minimum six months experience in assembling and installing sanitary sewer pipe, manholes, water main, and storm sewer pipe and manholes.
- Knowledge of confined spaces, OSHA trenching and sloping is preferred.
- Must be able to lift 75 pounds.
