Civil Construction Project Manager
We're looking for an experienced project manager to lead heavy civil construction projects from start to finish. In this role, you'll work closely with field teams, subcontractors, clients, and vendors to keep projects moving safely, on schedule, and within budget.

What You'll DoProject Planning & Execution
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and overall project plans.
- Coordinate labor, equipment, materials, and other resources needed for project success.
- Identify challenges early and implement practical solutions to keep projects on track.
Contracts & Risk Management
- Review contracts, specifications, and construction drawings to ensure project requirements are met.
- Monitor compliance and address project issues, changes, or disputes as they arise.
Financial Oversight
- Track project budgets, expenses, and cash flow.
- Prepare progress reports, invoices, and payment applications.
- Look for opportunities to improve efficiency and maximize project profitability.
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, vendors, and regulatory agencies.
- Maintain clear communication across all project stakeholders.
- Respond promptly and professionally to questions, concerns, and project updates.
Safety & Quality
- Promote a strong safety culture throughout the project team.
- Conduct regular site reviews and audits to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and support field personnel, subcontractors, and project team members.
- Foster a collaborative, accountable, and results-driven work environment.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 3+ years of project management experience, preferably in heavy civil or highway/road construction.
- Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Solid problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Experience with project management software such as Primavera and Vista.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of construction regulations, industry standards, and DOT/BOA requirements.
- PMP certification or other project management credentials are a plus.
