Responsibilities
- Welcomes and assists customers at the Teller line.
- Accurately processes a variety of transactions including deposits and withdrawals.
- Promptly investigates and resolves Teller errors.
- Provides exceptional customer service (in-person, on the phone, or virtually) in a friendly, professional, and timely manner.
- Builds customer relationships, determines their needs, and recommends appropriate products and services.
- Works as part of a team to address customer needs and accomplish branch goals.
- Follow all established bank policies and procedures.
- Keep cash drawer within established limits by selling and buying cash as needed.
- Process deposits and withdrawals, cash checks, issue Cashier's Checks, accept a variety of payments, process coin orders accurately, perform proof duties, balance cash vaults, scan and file appropriate documents.
- Maintain a high degree of accuracy by balancing cash drawer daily. Keep cash overages/shortages within the acceptable standards.
- Investigate and resolve Teller errors. Communicate to those affected.
- Provide quality customer service in a friendly, professional, and timely manner.
- Comply with regulations by completing Currency Transaction reports (CTR's).
- Build customer relationships, making product and service referrals when appropriate.
- Handle customer account inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Work as part of a team to address customer needs and accomplish branch goals.
- Effective communication when working with customers and/or employees
- Be involved in developing solutions to meet the needs of the customer and/or employees
- Flexibility to meet changing workload; highly self-motivated
- Be a team player and be respectful to all staff, customers, and prospects.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other applicable software preferred.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous cash handling experience preferred.
- Previous banking experience preferred
- 3 to 5 years of customer service experience preferred.
