WHO WE ARE
DEVELOP LLC is an engineering company that designs and builds custom machines and robotic integrations for manufacturers across the country. We are a FANUC Authorized Systems Integrator and an A3 Certified Robot Integrator based in Verona, Wisconsin, and we are building a company that compounds year over year.
We are not trying to be the biggest. We are trying to own the machine building market in North America. We do it by being the best, earning long-term client relationships, and building a team that gets stronger every year.
WHAT THE JOB ISYou will help create, review, and test machine code that will make automated systems function for manufacturing cells. You will need to work side by side with mechanical, manufacturing, electrical and assembly to make sure your code functions with the rest of the system. You will need to understand how to make systems work in the real world and be an active test engineer as well.
When questions come up you help solve them. When things get confusing you help clear the path. When something works you learn why. When something does not you help fix it and move forward.
A typical week looks like this:
- Design flow charts covering normal operation and error handling.
- Review and write code to make sure it both functions before being run on the machine
- Coordinate with mechanical and electrical to make sure hardware and software synchronize well
- Test the machines to make sure the machine meets requirements
If you like seeing what you design get built and shipped, this role fits.
If you prefer handing things off with no follow up, this is not the place.
