Coordinate Measuring Machine Programmer

• First shift, generally 6:00 AM-2:30 PM

• Develop, maintain, and optimize CMM programs using PC-DMIS and Calypso software
• Support inspection and quality processes to ensure products meet customer and engineering specifications
• Perform precision measurements, data analysis, and documentation to drive quality performance
• Partner with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to resolve issues and improve processes

• Develop and optimize CMM programs using PC-DMIS with or without CAD models
• Operate and support Zeiss and Hexagon CMM equipment for inspection and validation activities
• Perform first article inspections, in-process inspections, and final audits on precision machined components
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements
• Calculate tolerances, including bonus tolerances, and verify dimensional requirements
• Validate and maintain inspection fixtures and quality measurement systems
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on CMM equipment
• Support PPAP submissions and quality documentation requirements
• Maintain accurate inspection records and reporting documentation
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to investigate and resolve quality concerns
• Train and support team members on inspection processes and quality procedures
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to measurement systems and inspection processes
• Ensure compliance with customer, industry, and company quality standards

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required; technical degree preferred
• Minimum of 1-3 years of CMM programming experience required
• Proficiency with PC-DMIS programming required
• Experience using Calypso software required
• Experience operating Zeiss and/or Hexagon CMM equipment
• Strong knowledge of GD&T principles and blueprint interpretation
• Experience performing detailed dimensional inspections in a manufacturing environment
• Background in precision machining, aerospace, medical device, automotive, or other regulated manufacturing environments preferred
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to identify quality issues and implement effective corrective actions
• Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience supporting PPAP, FAI, IDL, and FLDR processes preferred
• Solid Works or other CAD software experience preferred
• Experience with fixture design and validation preferred
• Must be able to successfully pass a background check and drug screening
