Controls Technician
We are seeking a skilled Controls Technician to join our expanding team. This role has become available due to a team member reducing their hours. You will play an essential part in supporting a large capacity expansion project, which includes building new equipment and systems, bringing equipment online, and enhancing power distribution. This position will initially be based at our primary site for 6-8 months before transitioning to our Sauk City facility.
Responsibilities- Build and integrate new equipment, including processing units.
- Bring equipment online, such as pneumatics, steam control, and PLCs.
- Run electrical conduit, pull wires, and terminate electrical cabinets and panels.
- Add and enhance power distribution systems.
- Replicate and implement existing systems that are three stories in height.
- Proficient in troubleshooting electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting.
- Capable of running electrical conduit and wiring.
- Familiarity with automation processes.
Skills & Qualifications
- Associate's degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with PLC troubleshooting and pneumatic transfers.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with running electrical conduit and power distribution systems.
- Experience in a regulated industry such as FDA/cGMP is highly advantageous.
Work Environment
You will be part of a 17-member team, working closely with 5-6 colleagues daily, alongside facility support and electricians. The work involves both indoor and outdoor activities, requiring adherence to safety standards. The dress code is casual, suitable for a hands-on technical environment. Travel to the Sauk City facility will be required after the initial 6-8 months at the primary site.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Verona, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $36.00/hr.
