Versailles Baptist Church is a vibrant, gospel-centric, and mission-oriented faith family in the heart of central Kentucky. Our vision is to Know Him and Make Him Known. We are seeking a passionate and relational pastor to serve as our full-time Associate Pastor and Minister to Adults within our local body of believers and to lead our church in discipleship and missions. Versailles Baptist Church has accepted the Acts 1:8 challenge to be a worldwide mission center, engaging in intentional kingdom‑growing efforts. The next Associate Pastor will serving in a healthy church with a great staff team.

Versailles Baptist Church is located in historic downtown Versailles, just 10 miles west of Lexington, KY. We are a member of the Central Kentucky Network of Baptists, Kentucky Baptist Convention, and the Southern Baptist Convention.

• Adult Discipleship:
  Formulate, evaluate, and scale small group frameworks, Sunday School networks, and adult Bible studies to move believers from initial faith to deep spiritual maturity.
• Shepherding & Care:
  Work with the Senior Pastor and Congregational Care Team to provide pastoral counseling, hospital visitations, and spiritual care to the adult congregation.
• Missions:
  Lead and champion local ministries and stateside/international partnerships.
• Staff
  
  Collaboration:
  
  Actively participate as a primary member of the ministerial team, assist in corporate worship service logistics, periodic teaching/preaching opportunities, and broader administrative leadership.

• Scriptural Integrity:
  Must fully meet the biblical standards for pastoral leadership established in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1.
• Theological Conviction:
  Must firmly adhere to, teach, and align personal lifestyle with the doctrines outlined in the Baptist Faith and Message 2000.
• Education & Experience:
  
  Master of Divinity (M.Div.) or equivalent theological training from an accredited seminary is highly preferred, along with pastoral experience.
• Relational
  
  Competency:
  
  Possess a visible passion for multi‑generational adult ministry, excellent verbal communication, and a team‑first ministerial framework.

This full-time position includes an attractive compensation package including generous benefits. Salary commensurate with experience.
