Meaningful Work From Day One Join the team at Woodford Reserve! We’re hiring 3 Regauge Operators for 2nd shift to help us maintain excellence in our operations. In this role, you’ll handle a variety of tasks, including operating line equipment, unloading barrel trucks, managing dump floor operations, and using different styles of forklifts. You’ll also ensure all required paperwork is completed accurately and efficiently.
WhatYou Can Expect
- Perform dump floor operations, including unloading barrel trucks and operating various equipment on the line.
- Accurately record and confirm the correct barrels for each dump.
- Operate the re‑gauge line, including but not limited to: bung drill, filling wand, pallet dispenser, computer screen and BYO barrel dump line.
- Safely and precisely operate various types of PIE to move palletized barrels and up to four single barrels at a time.
- Accurately complete paperwork, including but not limited to BYO and new make put‑away, aged barrel removal sheet, dump sheet, Bills of Lading and re‑gauge sheets.
- Participate in downtime tracking while partnering with maintenance, lead, processor and operations manager to conduct root cause analysis and assist with resolving the issue safely.
- Assisting with any Continuous Improvement team as well as Safety team and internal/external audits that may happen.
- Provide support, as needed, for warehousing operations, including entering and removing barrels from warehouses and collecting samples from barrels in palletized and rick warehouses.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Minimum 3 years experience operating powered industrial equipment, specifically heavy industrial forklift.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and collaborative approach to problem‑solving.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Able to push and pull at least 100 pounds.
- Able to walk, bend, stoop, twist, reach upward/downward, crouch, ascend/descend stairs/ramps/ladders and enter tight/restricted areas on a daily basis.
- Able to work under varied environmental conditions, including cold and heat.
The successful candidate must have strong attendance and work performance while demonstrating the Brown‑Forman values and behaviors in the course of performing their job tasks. This position may be required to rotate shifts and/or work overtime as needed to ensure continuity of coverage.
