Specific Responsibilities/Essential Functions
- Fill clave with 3 tubs
- Pull out the 3 tubs after 1 ½ hour
- Check 1 tub each time a shot comes out- takes about 10 minutes
- Take the tubs to final line and make sure they are full at the robot. Final line goes through 3 tubs in 1 ½ hours
- Trim the other side of tubs at prepress
- Cover breaks for prepress
- Review everything on the check paper, plus a flashlight check which isn't required
- Perform a wet on test on 550 parts
- Runs Clave
- Assists trimming tubs
- Responsible for their paperwork
- Take shot tubs to final line
- Load/unload tubs at both Clave and Prepress
- Responsible for ALL cullet boxes in their areas
- Required to assist in training of others.
- Adhere to 5S and housekeeping standards and responsible for clean-up of work areas upon completion of tasks.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to utilize a Human Machine Interface (HMI)
- Basic knowledge and experience with hand tools
- Basic math skills
- Ability to read a ruler and work with fractions
- High School diploma or GED
- Occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Occasionally exposed to plant environment including noise, dust, dirt and vibrations, extreme climate changes / changes in weather
- Willing to work shift work and assist in other areas of department or site as needed.
- The incumbent must be able to work rotating 12 hours shifts.
