The Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe, accurate, and timely transportation of products while supporting overall warehouse operations. This role ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintains a high level of customer satisfaction. This position is a Monday - Friday position with no weekends, flexible day shift hours and is home every night.
Key Responsibilities- Perform physical handling and movement of warehouse inventory
- Load delivery vehicles efficiently and accurately, ensuring proper weight distribution and compliance with all regulations
- Deliver bulk and bagged feed to customer locations in accordance with state and federal guidelines
- Maintain accurate and timely delivery documentation
- Monitor, control, and maintain inventory levels
- Ensure warehouse cleanliness, organization, and adherence to safety standards
- Optimize use of warehouse space to support operational efficiency
- Complete additional duties as assigned by management
- Basic math and computer proficiency
- Valid Class A or B CDL license required
- Minimum of 1-year CDL driving experience
- Previous forklift (tow motor) experience preferred
- Must be able to use a hand cart to move stacks of ten 50lbs bags of feed
- Strong attendance record and punctuality
- Ability to routinely lift up to 55 lbs
- Ability to climb, bend, and perform physical job duties as required
- Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions (hot and cold)
