This role involves operating a sit-down electric forklift to support daily shipping and receiving activities, including material handling and documentation of incoming and outgoing orders. You will use basic computer skills to enter information into SAP and help ensure that products move safely and efficiently through the facility.

• Operate a sit-down electric forklift safely and efficiently to move, load, and unload materials throughout the facility.
• Perform a variety of shipping and receiving duties, including staging, loading, and unloading incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Handle materials with care, including packing, stacking, and organizing products to prevent damage and maintain order.
• Use RF scanners to scan, track, and verify inventory and shipment information accurately.
• Document incoming and outgoing orders and enter data into SAP or related computer systems to maintain accurate records.
• Shrink wrap pallets and materials to secure loads for storage or shipment.
• Inspect materials, pallets, and loads for accuracy, damage, and proper labeling before shipment or storage.
• Follow established safety procedures and guidelines while operating equipment and performing material handling tasks.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while working effectively in a hands-on, industrial environment.

• Proven experience operating a sit-down electric forklift in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment.
• Ability to perform shipping and receiving tasks, including loading, unloading, and verifying shipments.
• Experience with material handling, including packing, stacking, and organizing pallets and products.
• Proficiency using RF scanners to track and confirm inventory and shipment details.
• Basic computer literacy, including the ability to enter and update information in systems such as SAP.
• Ability to perform shrink wrapping of pallets and materials to secure loads.
• Strong attention to safety and ability to follow established procedures and guidelines.
• Capability to work effectively in a physically demanding, hands-on role.

• Familiarity with SAP or similar warehouse management or inventory systems.
• Previous experience in a shipping, receiving, or logistics environment.
• Comfort working in an industrial setting with exposure to dust, debris, and general warehouse conditions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet shipping and receiving deadlines.

This position is a first-shift role, working Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. You will primarily operate a sit-down electric forklift and use RF scanners and computer systems, including SAP, in a busy shipping and receiving environment. The facility is a hands-on, industrial setting where you can expect a rugged and sometimes dirty environment typical of active warehouse and material-handling operations.

Appropriate work attire suitable for a warehouse environment is expected, and you will follow all safety guidelines while working around forklifts, pallets, and other material-handling equipment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Versailles, KY.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
