Warehouse Manager

Warehouse Store & Logistics Manager – Lee County / Opelika, AL

Base pay range: $65,000.00/yr – $70,000.00/yr

• Direct warehouse operations.
• Maintain necessary inventory levels, order materials, route deliveries, and pickups.
• Maintain site security, including opening and closing of site.
• Manage workflow to assist staff in balancing priorities, providing backup support if needed, and ensuring all work is completed with appropriate urgency.
• Reconcile inventory discrepancies and adjustments.
• Help plan and maintain facility layout to promote safety, security, and productivity while leveraging available space.
• Ensure the facility is maintained in a neat and professional manner.

• Assign and direct all work performed in the branch and supervise all areas of operation in accordance with established company policies, procedures, objectives, and applicable laws.
• Create a culture and team that works together to meet customer needs and achieve results.
• Evaluate the performance of branch personnel and develop goals and objectives.
• Promote an environment of empowerment, respect, and trust while holding team members accountable for their actions.

• Work with team, customers, and suppliers to solve challenges and leverage growth opportunities.
• Maintain relationships with customers and suppliers, building a favorable company image.
• Successfully resolve problems and complaints as they arise.
• Direct, coordinate counter (over‑the‑counter) efforts and provide customer assistance.
• Assist in account development, penetrate targeted accounts, and generate sales within the client base.
• Overcome objections of prospective customers.
• Emphasize product/service features and benefits, quote prices, discuss credit terms, and prepare sales order forms and/or reports.
• Build and foster a network of referrals to create new opportunities for gross profit growth.
• Manage call schedule to adequately cover assigned territory efficiently.
• Use marketing data where applicable for sales management software tools to maximize sales efficiency and effectiveness.
• Continuously update product knowledge and stay informed about product inventory and applicability.

• Minimum 3 years of work experience.
• Fork truck certified.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.

• Demonstrated ability to convert prospects into customers.
• Strong problem identification and objection resolution skills.
• Exceptional verbal & written communication skills; excellent listening skills.
• Exceptional organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Self‑motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm.
