Essential FunctionsAnalyze and optimize Assembly production management processes
Support standardization of shop floor management systems
Work directly with production management teams
Assist with cross-functional problem-solving activities
Support resolution of product and process-related issues
Collaborate with Body Shop, Paint Shop, and supplier partners
Develop and implement improvement measures
Participate in process optimization initiatives
Support data analysis and performance reporting
Contribute to continuous improvement projects
Gain exposure to automotive manufacturing operations
Other regular daily tasksDaily attendance and evaluation of Assembly Core Teams and Escalaton Meetings
Drive problem resolution for complex and legacy topics
Support shopfloor process management
Regular reporting of project and problem solving status and next steps
QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS:
Education, Experience and Necessary Skills all must be met in order to qualify for position.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or in a related area, and/or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred SkillsUnderstanding of Engineering Problem Solving
Basic Microsoft Computer Knowledge
Understanding of Vehicle Systems and Terminology
Focus on Standard Automotive Production System
Power Bi trained
Preferred Start Date- March 2027
- Paid Internship- hourly rate $18
- Coverage of visa costs
- $700 monthly housing stipend
- Currently enrolled in University or in a gap year between Bachelor'sand Master's degree
- Studies outside of the U.S.A
- A minimum of 3semesters of studies in relevant field of study
- Available for a minimum of 6months
