Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

Position Summary This full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) role involves providing anesthesia under the supervision of anesthesiologists across diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests at a community hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia and participate in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.
• Collaborate with a team of anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals.
• Work in a fast-paced environment covering multiple surgical specialties, including orthopedics, obstetrics, cardiac, neuro, and vascular surgeries.
• Maintain adherence to departmental policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program.
• Alabama CRNA license, BLS, and ACLS certifications.
• Self-motivated with excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently, handle emergency situations, and adapt to a dynamic healthcare setting.
• Demonstrates empathy, professionalism, and a strong work ethic.
