The KEYSYS Director of Business Development drives company growth through a balance of hands-on selling and people leadership. This role focuses on building trusted client relationships, closing meaningful work, and leading Business Development Partners in a way that reflects KEYSYS’s values, integrity, and long-term vision.
You will own your own clients, pipeline, and revenue goals while also shaping how sales happens across the company. This role requires strong character, curiosity, and a genuine motivation to build something meaningful and lasting. You’ll connect business leaders with KEYSYS’s expertise in custom software, cloud engineering, and AI solutions, translating business challenges into technology outcomes and long-term partnerships.

Responsibilities- Leading, coaching, and developing Business Development Partners (BDP) into high-credibility advisors who prioritize understanding and match-making over making a sale
- Driving opportunities through the pipeline and winning business to ensure consistent project flow for our engineering teams
- Guiding the sales process for custom software, cloud, and AI solutions
- Executing the KEYSYS sales process with discipline—focusing on the quality of the interaction to ensure the quality of the result
- Managing team and individual pipelines, metrics, and forecasting
- Repeating KEYSYS market messaging in all appropriate forums, and helping co-workers do the same
- Collaborating with project teams to ensure smooth, client-focused transitions
- Representing KEYSYS externally through relationships and presence
- Strong personal and team revenue performance against agreed upon targets
- Healthy, predictable pipeline that minimizes, and is aligned to, engineering capacity
- Measurable growth in the skill, confidence, and curiosity of your team
- Clear visibility into sales intelligence, activity, metrics, and forecasting
- Consistent conversion of opportunities into long-term client relationships

- Own and manage the full sales cycle for your clients
- Coach Business Development Partners through prospecting, discovery, and close
- Use metrics to create clarity, accountability, and continuous improvement
