Job Duties
Coordinate with team to plan and accomplish projects.
Determine project equipment requirements and logistics.
Communicate directly with project stakeholders.
Utilize considerable judgment on unconventional projects.
Interpret engineering guidelines, principles, and practices related to lab-scale and full-scale testing of structures and structural components, test article construction, prototype fabrication, explosive engineering, geophysical principles.
Lead diverse teams in completing field and laboratory experiments.
Take accountability for data collection, validity of data, and adherence of safety rules and regulations.
Research literature reviews to determine if precedents exist for current projects.
Develop new procedures and techniques that can be utilized by others.
