Attendant - Slots

Overview

The Slot Attendant t is responsible for providing Superior service to all guests, performs minor repairs to gaming machines, troubleshoots machines and documents malfunctions unable to repair at machine level.

• Prepares slot payoff requests and tax forms for jackpots, obtaining verification and payment as appropriate, in a manner consistent with MGC regulations, internal controls and slot department operating procedures.
• Troubleshoots and repairs minor problems at the machine. Documents those repairs unable to fix at machine level.
• Responds to requests for information, changes large denomination currency into requested bills.
• Provides superior levels of guest service to both internal and external guests.

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• 1 to 3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to effectively present information in one on one and small group situations to guests and other employees of the organization.

• Mississippi State Gaming License

High School (preferred)

1 year:
High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
1 to 3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. (preferred)

MS Gaming License (required)
