Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Schedule: Alternating weekends (every other weekend required)
Position Overview:
A healthcare facility in Vicksburg, Mississippi is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join their acute care team. This opportunity is ideal for a clinician who is confident working independently, flexible with scheduling, and committed to delivering high-quality respiratory care in a hospital setting.
Responsibilities:
Perform respiratory assessments and therapeutic interventions
Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and ventilator support
Monitor patient response and adjust treatments per protocol
Respond to emergency and critical care situations
Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to optimize patient outcomes
Maintain accurate clinical documentation
Requirements:
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital experience
Must be willing to work every other weekend
Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
