Vicksburg PLANT: ALL SHIFTS General Labor PR

Job Details: AT THIS TIME the location is no longer accepting rehires for GENERAL LABOR roles. CANDIDATES THAT HAVE WORKED FOR TYSON FOODS OR TYSON AFFILIATES 1 OR MORE TIMES WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE FOR REHIRE. Pay is $16.55 per hour. MUST PERFORM OTHER DUTIES AS TASKED BY ADMINISTRATION. MUST BE SAFE AND OBSERVE ALL OF TYSONS POLICIES AND PROCEDURES.

• Perform assigned production tasks to support processing, packaging, and material handling operations
• Assist with product handling, sorting, stacking, and staging as required
• Maintain continuous product flow to prevent downtime or congestion
• Monitor product for quality defects and report concerns promptly
• Assist line operators with setup, changeovers, and general line support
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, tools, and equipment
• Remove waste, scrap, and recyclable materials according to plant procedures
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and supervisor instructions
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, hygiene, and allergen control requirements
• Comply with OSHA regulations and Tyson safety policies
• Use required PPE and follow safe work practices
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Work directly with raw, in-process, or packaged fresh product
• Adhere to strict food safety, sanitation, and contamination prevention standards
• Wear required PPE, including gloves, aprons, hairnets, and protective footwear
• Work in temperature-controlled environments, including cold, wet, or humid conditions.
