• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state requirements apply) — compact license accepted where applicable
• Experience working on medical-surgical units
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA preferred)
• NIHSS certification
• Permanent address must be 50+ miles from the facility (travel eligibility requirement)
• Ability to work rotating weekends and adapt to a fast-paced clinical environment

• Deliver safe, high-quality medical-surgical nursing care to adult Med/Surg patients with a variety of diagnoses
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop and update individualized care plans, and document accurately in the EMR
• Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and escalate changes in condition to physicians and charge nurses
• Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Provide patient and family education on diagnoses, medications, post-discharge care, and follow-up instructions
• Maintain compliance with safety standards, infection prevention protocols, and hospital policies
