Overview
JOB SUMMARY Seeking a Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a Medical Surgical unit.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients on a medical-surgical unit.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient vital signs and condition, reporting any changes to the Registered Nurse or physician.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain a safe and clean patient environment.
- Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and standards of care.
- Nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) with rotating weekends.
- Active LPN License.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- NIHSS certification.
- Must have a permanent address located more than 50 miles from the facility.
Prior experience in a Medical Surgical setting is highly preferred.
