Certified Nursing Assistant

The primary purpose of the Certified Nursing Assistant position is to provide each assigned resident with excellent daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident's assessment and plan of care, and as may be directed by your supervisor.

The duties and responsibilities include:

• Administrative functions
• Admission, transfer, and discharge functions
• Personnel functions
• Personal nursing care functions
• Special nursing care functions
• Food service functions
• Safety and sanitation
• Equipment and supply functions
• Care plan functions
• Resident rights responsibilities
• Working conditions
• Staff development functions

Job requirements include:

• Education
• Specific requirements
• Physical and sensory requirements (with or without the aid of mechanical devices)
