Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery (Travel)

Vicksburg, MS | Acute Care

• Provide nursing care during the antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases of obstetrical care to Labor and Delivery patients
• Utilize the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies and procedures
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipating and planning for safe delivery of care
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
• Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

• Prior experience in Labor and Delivery nursing
• Familiarity with obstetrical care across antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum phases
• Experience working in a travel nursing capacity
