, you’ll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

The Staff Accountant supports daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial record‑keeping and compliance with company policies. This role focuses on transactional tasks such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations, while assisting with reporting.

Pay Range: $25.00 – $33.00 per hour, Part‑time role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process member billing, including dues, dining charges, events, and other club services.
  • Manage accounts receivable, including collections and resolving member account discrepancies.
  • Handle accounts payable, including vendor invoices, approvals, and payments.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
  • Maintain accurate member accounts and ensure timely and correct postings.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, annual reports such as batch reports and cash reports.
  • Review and process invoices, updating the general ledger.
  • Review and process expense reports.
  • Maintain record‑keeping, filing systems, and process daily mail.
  • Assist in the reconciliation of accounts payable, vendor statements, loans and various general ledger accounts as needed.
  • Assist with month‑end close, review and print reports.
  • Prepare accounts receivable statements.
  • Assist in performing daily revenue audits for revenue‑generating departments.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
  • 3 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or related experience.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Familiarity with member‑based billing systems and POS integrations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to handle confidential financial and member information.
  • Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities.
Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of GAAP principles.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Experience with club management or hospitality software (e.g., Jonas Club Software).

Physical Demands:

Frequently sits, uses hands, reaches with arms, talks or hears. Occasionally stands, walks, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls or crouches. Occasionally lifts up to 25 pounds. Noise level is moderate.
