Title: pK-12 Psychologist Teacher Leader

• Hold valid New York State certification in designated area of leadership position
• Effective communication and problem solving skills
• Knowledge of curriculum and best instructional practices
• Ability to work collaboratively in an educational setting
• Able to work effectively with a variety of staff and groups

• Plans for, facilitates and presents pertinent information at monthly meetings with pK-6 & 7-12 Psychologists, maintains meeting minutes and distributes copies to Assistant Superintendent for Pupil Services and Building Principals
• Participates in data collection and planning for Department
• Participates in planning special events
• Supports work related to the implementation of RTI/MTSS as needed
• Meets monthly with Director of Elementary Special Education, Director of Secondary Special Education and Assistant Superintendent for Pupil Services
• Serves on district committees aligned to the teacher leader assignment
• Gathers information related to department needs
• Provides leadership in implementing and evaluating initiatives
• Serves as a consultant to the colleagues in the department
• Attends training as deemed appropriate by the administration
• Conducts workshops, demonstrations, or in-service training for school psychologists as needed
• Provides input and facilitates staff development
• Participates in conference day planning
• Serves on interview committees as needed
• General Teacher Leader Assignments
• Maintains confidentiality with staff, student and family information

Salary: As per the contract between Victor Central Schools and the Victor Teachers' Association

The position of pK-12 Psychologist Teacher Leader is a ten‑month position.

The terms established in accordance with the contract between Victor Central Schools and the Victor Teachers' Association.

Performance in this position will be evaluated annually by district administration.
