Job Title

7-12 Humanities Coach

This position will provide support for the implementation of our curriculum aligned to Next Generation English Language Arts Standards, the NYS Social Studies Framework, and the NYS World Language Standards while focusing on instructional best practices in the Humanities.

• Provide instructional coaching
• Provide consultation services across grades 7-12
• Conduct workshops and demonstrations for teachers
• Assist teachers with the interpretation of test results and item analyses
• Provide leadership in implementing and evaluating curriculum, and in designing and implementing training
• Provide input into staff development programs and conference day planning
• Maintain communication with department leaders
• Attend training as deemed appropriate by the administration
• Keep current in the field by reviewing professional journals and trade books
• Assist teachers and administrators in compiling data
• Maintain confidentiality with staff, student, and data management matters
• Perform related duties as required

Minimum starting salary $48,502 (negotiable based on experience), as per the Victor Teachers' Association agreement. The VTA contract can be found on the Victor Central School District website under the Human Resources tab.
