Position Summary
As an Assembly Operator III, you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability and performance of electronic systems that support critical missions. The work helps ensure that every product leaving the manufacturing floor meets exacting quality and performance standards. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on assembly work, problem‑solving, and collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams to deliver high‑quality products.
Responsibilities- Assembles parts, components, sub‑assemblies, and assemblies using a variety of hand tools and productionized semi‑automatic assembly equipment.
- Basic use of soldering irons and go‑no‑go gauges.
- Responsible for operator verification (OV) and reporting.
- Follow work instructions and reference blueprints when necessary.
- Works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function.
- Partners with engineering and manufacturing teams by providing technical feedback and support.
- Contributes to the development and improvement of manufacturing procedures.
- Follows safety, quality, and process standards to support consistent, repeatable outcomes.
- Light lifting of assemblies weighing up to 30 lbs.
- High School Diploma (or equivalent)
- 5+ years of related experience in electromechanical assembly
- Soldering experience with J‑STD endorsement
- Experience working from engineering drawings, schematics, work instructions, and written or verbal guidance
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (clearances are granted to U.S. citizens)
- Basic computer skills
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Willingness to maintain a high level of productivity without compromising quality standards
- Positive can‑do attitude and ability to deal with and support change
The expected compensation range for this role is $52,728.00 – $65,832.00 per year. Final compensation will consider scope and responsibilities, candidate’s relevant experience, education, certifications, training, and current business and market conditions.
