Sr. Production Quality Engineer

Position Summary

Designs and executes the control plan, audits to ensure that control plans are being followed, and ensures containment and corrective action in the event of non‑conformance. May coach and develop Quality Technician and Manufacturing Engineers on best practice.

• Ensure statistical confidence by identifying sample size and acceptable error when screening for non‑conforming product.
• Work with individual programs to monitor or analyze product assembly quality data and help correct quality issues.
• Perform analysis on returned product and provide feedback to engineering to better improve the process.
• Ensure work instructions and processes meet AS9100/ISO 9001 requirements.
• Ensure the products and product work instructions are within customer quality systems specifications.
• Develop new approaches to problem solving identified during quality assurance activities.
• Serve as a quality assurance resource to supervisor(s) and manufacturing engineers for problem identification, resolution, loss reporting and continuous improvement.
• Report to programs on quality issues, trends and losses.
• Perform in‑process quality monitoring of factory assembly lines and engineering assembly labs.
• Represent quality at program meetings.
• Act as a Material Review Board member.

• Bachelor's Degree (preferred) in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, Technology or Quality Assurance with 6+ years of experience in a Quality role in a manufacturing environment or a Master’s degree.
• Must be willing to travel occasionally (
