Description

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for members, guests, visitors, and prospective customers, providing friendly and professional service in person, by phone, and by email.
  • Coordinate marina reservations, slip assignments, customer records, and related documentation.
  • Respond to inquiries, provide information about marina services, and help resolve customer concerns in a timely and thoughtful manner.
  • Maintain accurate customer files, agreements, payment information, and administrative records.
  • Support accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, payment processing, account follow-up, and reconciliation.
  • Assist with basic bookkeeping, data entry, reporting, and financial administration.
  • Work closely with dock staff to communicate arrivals, departures, service requests, and operational updates.
  • Coordinate with the broader team to ensure a smooth and consistent customer experience across the marina.
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, spreadsheets, notices, and other administrative materials.
  • Maintain organized filing systems and ensure records are complete, current, and confidential.
  • Assist with seasonal preparation, customer communications, marina events, and other operational initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and contribute to a well-organized, efficient office.
  • Provide general administrative support and take on additional responsibilities as required.
  • Requirements

  • Previous experience in administration, customer service, reservations, hospitality, tourism, marina operations, or property management.
  • A warm, professional, and customer-focused approach.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong integrity, accountability, discretion, and sound judgment.
  • A proactive approach and the initiative to anticipate needs and solve problems.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with office, operations, and dock teams.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, seasonal, and customer-facing environment.
  • Experience with accounts receivable, invoicing, bookkeeping, or payment processing is considered an asset.
  • Familiarity with reservation or property management systems is considered an asset.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Availability to work a schedule that may include weekends or holidays during peak marina season.
