This 18-month assignment is perfect for detail-oriented professionals skilled in financial analysis and budget preparation. You will report to the Manager of Finance and Accounting, playing a critical role in maintaining financial integrity and supporting audits. This position requires a strong background in accounting functions, along with a passion for community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate financial reports and statements

• Assist with budget and forecasting programs

• Conduct month-end reconciliations and entries

• Support internal and external audits

• Manage the asset depreciation database

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or commerce

• Four years of relevant work experience

• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in reporting software

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Valid Class 5 BC driver’s license
