Senior Finance Leader

Lead finance operations as the Director/VP Finance in Victoria, BC. This full-time, strategic role involves mentoring a finance team and enhancing financial frameworks.

Reporting directly to the President, this senior position oversees a dynamic finance team of four to six professionals within consumer packaged goods manufacturing. You'll manage board reporting, develop cost accounting frameworks, and refine key financial processes. You'll also lead budgeting and forecasting initiatives while ensuring compliance and efficient audit processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee board reporting and financial oversight

• Build a transparent cost accounting framework

• Lead the annual budget and forecasting processes

• Manage cash flow and working-capital efficiency

• Mentor finance staff to drive continuous improvement

Requirements:

• Canadian CPA designation required

• 8+ years finance experience, 3+ years in a senior role

• Experience in food/beverage or manufacturing preferred

• Strong skills in cost accounting and financial analysis

• Advanced proficiency in Excel for large data sets
