Associate of Settlements

Join a leading asset management firm in downtown Victoria as an Associate, Settlements. This position focuses on trade processing and payment instructions, ensuring accuracy and compliance every day.

Reporting to the Lead of Settlements, you'll manage trade settlements, oversee inquiries, and enhance business processes. Your 4+ years in back or middle office roles, especially with trade settlements, will drive success. Collaborate with AI technology to improve operational efficiency and support team training.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process trade settlements from matching to final execution

• Execute payment instructions for large-value transactions

• Mentor team members while managing process changes

• Identify opportunities for technology and process improvements

• Investigate and troubleshoot issues using custodian reports

Requirements:

• 4+ years in asset management or investment firms

• Advanced trade settlement and SWIFT knowledge

• Experience with Bloomberg and payment applications

• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills

• University degree in Finance or related field
