Position: Valuations Leadership Role
Lead valuation processes at BCI as a Senior Manager in beautiful Victoria, BC. Use your extensive experience in private investments to influence critical financial decisions and governance.

This role is crucial to BCI's mission, focusing on private equity, infrastructure, and private credit valuations. As you report to the Director of Valuations, your responsibilities will include delivering clear valuation analyses and strengthening relationships with external valuators. Your leadership will also help in mentoring direct reports while supporting technological improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver timely valuation reviews and documentation

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards in valuations

• Prepare insightful analysis for Valuation Committee

• Identify and remedy valuation control gaps

• Act as subject matter expert for stakeholders and auditors

Requirements:

• Professional designation (CPA, CFA, or CBV) essential

• 8-10 years in private investment valuation experience

• Expertise in valuation methodologies for illiquid assets

• Strong IFRS knowledge, especially IFRS 13

• Ability to articulate complex valuation matters clearly
