Associate, Capital Markets & Credit Investments

In this Associate position within BCI's Capital Markets & Credit Investments team, you'll report to the Managing Director and leverage your 3-5 years of investment banking, principal investing, or M&A experience. You will develop strong financial models, contribute to investment committee materials, and support portfolio monitoring in the Global Partnership Fund's strategic resources sector, thriving among top professionals in Victoria or Vancouver.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct research on metals and mining market themes

• Build and maintain financial models for investment evaluation

• Support due diligence, including financial and technical analysis

• Prepare investment committee materials with detailed analysis

• Monitor portfolio investments’ financial performance

Requirements:

• 3-5 years in investment banking or related field

• Strong financial modeling and valuation skills

• Exposure to metals and mining industries

• Excellent analytical and communications skills

• Advanced proficiency in Excel, VBA or Python preferred
