Lead ice programs with the Township of Esquimalt as an Events and Ice Programs Supervisor. Ensure successful sessions and events that foster community engagement and enjoyment.
The Parks and Recreation Department is looking for an organized person to fill an auxiliary role for approximately five months. You will manage the details of skating lessons, public sessions, and special community events. Your leadership will involve training staff, liaising with community members, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and manage skating lessons and public sessions
• Recruit and train volunteers and staff members
• Ensure compliance with health and safety policies
• Assist in promotional material creation for events
• Oversee program-related administrative duties
Requirements:
• Must be 19 years or older
• Certificate in Recreation Leadership
• At least 1 year of related experience
• Current Standard First Aid Certification
• Class 5 Drivers License
