As a Senior Naval Architect, you will play a key role in managing and mentoring the Naval Architecture Team. Your responsibilities will span work assignment oversight, performance evaluations, and the establishment of team training initiatives. Collaborate with the Capability Manager on departmental strategies while supporting team members in achieving performance targets.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and allocate work assignments effectively
• Approve timesheets and reviews for direct reports
• Conduct individual performance discussions and training plans
• Maintain team communication through regular meetings
• Support hiring and team integration efforts
Requirements:
• Degree in Marine Engineering or Naval Architecture
• Minimum 10 years of experience in naval architecture
• Must obtain Canadian security clearance
• Proven leadership capabilities with good communication skills
• Experience in recruitment and team building
