Join BC Housing as a Supportive Housing Advisor in Victoria, BC, where you will oversee funding and enhance housing service delivery. This full-time role empowers you to directly impact the lives of vulnerable populations.
In this role, you’ll manage funding streams and evaluate the effectiveness of programs run by Non-Profit Societies. By fostering partnerships and providing program recommendations, you’ll facilitate strong connections between social service providers and the government to improve community outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and allocate funding for housing programs
• Evaluate Non-Profit Societies’ service efficiency
• Offer guidance on effective program implementations
• Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships
• Monitor risks and financial oversight in projects
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree relevant to the position
• Extensive senior-level non-profit experience
• Familiarity with social service issues
• Knowledge of BC Housing’s mandate and policies
• Understanding of the Residential Tenancy Act
