What this role is significant

As Lodge Support, you’re at the centre of the action. You help guests feel welcome, keep the dining room moving, and connect the kitchen, bar, host stand, and service team. From managing the flow at the door to running food at its best and keeping tables guest-ready, your urgency and attention to detail shape the whole experience. If you thrive on variety, enjoy a fast pace, and naturally step in to help, this is a role where your contribution is felt every shift.

A day in the life

• Welcome guests with genuine hospitality while managing seating flow and waitlists
• Run food and beverages efficiently while maintaining presentation standards
• Keep communication flowing between the kitchen, servers, bartenders, and host stand
• Maintain tables through resets, water service, clearing, and attentive upkeep
• Keep the dining room clean, organized, and guest-ready throughout servicel
• Anticipate guest and team needs and step in proactively to support operations
• Complete opening and side-duty responsibilities as assigned
• Follow food-safety, sanitation, and workplace-safety standards
• Bring positive, energetic, team-first support to every shift

What we hope you'll bring to the team

• Serving It Right certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work efficiently and stay composed in a fast-paced hospitality environment
• A team-first mindset and willingness to help wherever needed
• Comfort standing and walking for extended periods, carrying trays, and balancing multiple tasks
• The ability to lift and carry trays, kegs, and bar stock
• Availability Monday through Friday for daytime shifts from 11:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• Hospitality or restaurant experience is an asset; a friendly, can-do attitude matters most
• Reliable transportation to and from Brentwood Bay Resort
