Join our construction team as a Bricklayer, specializing in masonry work. Your expertise will ensure precise laying of bricks and blocks on various sites.
This Bricklayer role is ideal for candidates with five years or more of masonry experience and relevant certifications. You will prepare, lay, and finish masonry units while also instructing apprentices on techniques and safety practices. The job requires physical strength and a focus on quality execution at height.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and install bricks and concrete blocks
• Construct residential and commercial chimneys and fireplaces
• Design and build patios and decorative walls
• Cut masonry materials according to specifications
• Instruct apprentices in masonry methods
Requirements:
• Bricklayer Trade Certification is necessary
• Five or more years of relevant experience needed
• Valid driver's license and personal transportation required
• WHMIS and Fall Arrest Protection certificates needed
• Undergo basic security clearance process
