Fire Alarm Technician

Join our dedicated team at Community Fire Prevention Ltd, where you will lead inspections, maintenance, and repairs of vital Fire and Life Safety equipment. This full-time role involves mentoring junior technicians and participating in emergency on-call rotations. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct various fire inspections according to the 2018 BC Fire Code

• Repair and troubleshoot fire safety equipment

• Complete Electronic Inspection and Deficiency Reports

• Participate in after-hours emergency on-call rotation

• Mentor Junior Fire Prevention Technicians

Requirements:

• ASTTBC RFPT or CFAA Certification preferred

• Valid BC Driver’s License with abstract

• Strong electrical and mechanical background

• Excellent communication skills in English

• Detail-oriented and proactive in problem-solving
