Mazzei Electric  started in Nanaimo, BC in 1994. We started as a small family run company that focused on commercial service contracts. Service Journeyperson Electrician in Victoria, BC
Compensation for this role is in between $38/hour to $40/hour, immediate health and dental benefits, and RRSP matching after one year. When you factor these together the total compensation is between $40.89/hour and $42.95/hour!

Responsibilities

Trouble-shooting of all electrical components

Professionalism in customer service

Reading and interpreting drawings and schematics

Testing and measurement with multi-meters, meggers, etc.

Present a positive, can-do attitude in the workplace and with our clients

New installation of electrical components in residential and commercial structures

Renovation/additions to all styles of electrical systems in residential and commercial structures

Instruction and leadership of apprentices

Punctual and reliable presence on worksites

Understanding of Arc Flash and Lock-out/Tag-out procedures

Qualifications

Service experience required

Experience in all other electrical fields are an asset

Red-Seal Journeyperson Electrician required

Valid Class B FSR an asset – must be willing to get in the future

Extensive knowledge of CEC

Basic hand tools, multi-meter, and cordless power tools

Valid class 5 driver’s license w/ clean abstract

Valid safety tickets are an asset (eg. First Aid, Fall Pro, AWP, Confined Space, Arc Flash);

Basic computer skills

Willingness to work out of town, on call, longer shifts, and/or evening/night shifts
