Mechanical Technician

Join Driftwood Brewery's team in Victoria, BC, as a Mechanical Technician. This full-time role involves hands-on work with brewing machinery, troubleshooting, and performing maintenance tasks.

As a valued member of our brewery team, you will report to the Maintenance Manager and collaborate closely with production teams. You will handle preventative maintenance, address breakdowns effectively, and ensure our brewery equipment operates seamlessly. Ideal candidates have a mechanical background and a proactive approach to enhancing our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute preventative maintenance and corrective repairs

• Troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues

• Diagnose equipment using sound and feel techniques

• Log work accurately in the CMMS system

• Maintain cleanliness and safety across work areas

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on mechanical experience

• Comfortable with alignment, bearings, and pumps

• Strong safety awareness and practices

• Familiar with hand and power tools

• Ability to work independently and follow checklists
