Position: Vancouver Island Lead Hand Electrician Role
OZZ Electric BC is looking for a Lead Hand Electrician to work on Vancouver Island. Join us for rewarding projects while guiding apprentices and ensuring electrical compliance.

As a Lead Hand, you play a critical role in OZZ Electric BC's flagship projects. With your Red Seal Journeyperson Electrician ticket, you'll be responsible for the installation of equipment and compliance with Canadian Electrical Code standards. You'll mentor apprentices, oversee installations, and manage safety documentation to foster a productive and secure work environment across high-rise and commercial sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical installations per blueprints and codes

• Identify hazards in installed equipment and recommend actions

• Guide apprentices and Journey persons throughout projects

• Create and manage safety protocols and paperwork

• Review and update project drawings as necessary

Requirements:

• Valid Journeyperson Electrician ticket (Red Seal) essential

• Proven experience with high-rise or commercial projects

• In-depth knowledge of electrical regulations in Canada

• Strong communication and organizational abilities

• Field Safety Representative ticket is an added advantage
