Join Royal Jubilee Hospital as a Plumbing Technician in Victoria, BC. This temporary full-time position demands expertise in plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance at various sites.

Under the guidance of the Head Plumber, you will execute skilled plumbing work, ensuring the functionality and safety of plumbing systems.

Your role emphasizes preventative and demand maintenance while providing training to apprentices. The position further involves managing maintenance staff and contributing to the overall strategic aim of health and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform skilled plumbing work and system maintenance

• Supervise apprentices and contracted maintenance staff

• Carry out preventative and demand maintenance tasks

• Read and interpret technical blueprints and drawings

• Communicate effectively with colleagues and team members

Requirements:

• Certificate of Apprenticeship or Trades Qualification

• Class B level Gas Fitter's license and electrical endorsement

• Valid BC Driver's License

• Two years recent plumbing experience or equivalent

• Strong ability to organize and prioritize tasks
