Support safe building-material deliveries as a customer-focused Delivery Helper in Victoria, British Columbia, with weekday morning shifts and job-site placement duties.
This full-time Delivery Helper position supports transportation and placement of building materials for customers. You will communicate with customers, coworkers, trades, and dispatch while emphasizing safety, service, and efficiency. Basic mathematics, hand tools, and physical strength support daily work.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver materials to assigned customer job-site areas
- Verify load security and delivery accuracy
- Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, and trades
- Maintain dispatch contact and resolve issues
- Prepare trucks and assist warehouse staff
- Valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract preferred
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of basic mathematics
- Basic hand tool skills
- Ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds
