Repair Restoration Technician Carpentry

Apply advanced carpentry fundamentals to restoration projects as a Repair and Restoration Technician supporting residential, commercial, and industrial work.

The Repair and Restoration Technician supports BELFOR’s restoration division and helps meet client and insurance company requirements. You will read blueprints, interpret work orders, apply building codes, and complete construction tasks. The work combines independent responsibility with effective teamwork across residential and commercial environments.

• Prepare material take-offs and interpret blueprints, work orders, and construction math
• Perform restoration work from site preparation through project completion
• Address completion issues and communicate proactively with the Project Manager
• Maintain professional communication with clients, subcontractors, and insurance adjustors
• Conduct hazard assessments and maintain safe, organized job sites

• High school diploma or GED
• Intermediate to advanced carpentry understanding
• Basic math proficiency and strong organizational skills
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a motor vehicle
• One or more years in construction, restoration, or insurance preferred
