Are you passionate about forming young people in faith, service, and discipleship? We are seeking a faith-filled, mission-driven Campus Minister & Theology Teacher to nurture the spiritual lives of students through service learning, pastoral leadership, and theology instruction rooted in the teachings of the Catholic Church.
About the RoleThe Campus Minister & Theology Teacher plays a vital role in advancing the Catholic identity of the school by leading service-learning initiatives, supporting campus ministry programming, and teaching Theology. This position integrates pastoral presence, spiritual formation, and classroom instruction to help students grow in faith, character, and a commitment to service.
What You’ll DoCampus Ministry & Service Learning
- Develop and lead a comprehensive student service program grounded in Catholic social teaching and servant leadership
- Build and maintain partnerships with parishes, nonprofits, and community organizations to support meaningful service opportunities
- Plan and lead school-wide and grade-level service initiatives, immersion experiences, and reflection activities
- Guide students in reflecting on their service experiences through journaling, discussion, and theology-based integration
- Support and coordinate liturgical and prayer experiences, including school Masses, reconciliation services, prayer services, and retreats
- Serve as a pastoral presence for students and staff through spiritual accompaniment and leadership
- Embrace the school’s Lasallian charism to form students as lifelong servant leaders
- Teach assigned Theology courses in alignment with Archdiocesan standards and the Catechism of the Catholic Church
- Create engaging, faith-centered lessons that foster critical thinking and a deeper relationship with Christ
- Assess student learning using a variety of instructional and evaluative methods
- Collaborate with the Theology Department to ensure curricular excellence and consistency
