Job Summary
The Program Supervisor II (PS) is responsible for the oversight, leadership, and daily operations within an ICF setting. The PS trains employees, ensures client care plans are followed, and manages the overall budget. The PS develops, implements, and monitors clients’ individual program plans.
Mount Olivet Rolling Acres (MORA) is a diverse and inclusive nonprofit that has supported adults, seniors, and children with developmental disabilities, behavioral health needs, and age‑related and chronic medical conditions for over 50 years in the Twin Cities metro.
MORA provides an array of services:
Adult Day Services, Contracted Case Management, Community Supports, over 30 Residential Homes, Respite, Therapeutic Recreation, Training for Guardians & Families, and a Discover Summer Daytime Programming for Youth with Disabilities. Our Metro Crisis Coordination Program (MCCP) offers a safety net of crucial and cost‑effective services for adults and children.
Hourly Base Pay: $26.00‑$30.00 per hour. Weekend differential +$2.00 per hour for hours between 10pm Friday and 10pm Sunday. Overnight differential +$1.00 per hour for hours between 10pm and 6am. ($12.13 per hour when assigned to sleep hours only). $1,500 retention bonus for full‑time paid out over 1 year.
Schedule:
Monday‑Friday 40 hours FLEX Hours. Supervisor on call rotation.
- Demonstrates an understanding of the person as a unique individual and writes and implements programs in accordance with the Support Plan, Health Care Plan, and other supporting 245D documentation.
- Provides person‑centered services demonstrated through practice, action, and language.
- Communicates effectively with others at work verbally and in writing, using the primary spoken language of clients in the home.
- Maintains a working knowledge of the client’s history, skills, areas of vulnerability, habilitation plans, and emergency procedures.
- Develops, implements, and evaluates as needed the individual program plans and all other required documents and assessments for clients.
- Responsible for overall 245D, Minnesota Department of Health, and Minnesota State Fire Code licensing compliance.
- Responsible for overall oversight of household communications (email, phone, communication book, house calendar).
- Responsible for overall program budget, petty cash, and oversight of client accounts.
- Completes quality improvement tool (Radar) unless delegated where appropriate.
- Completes MORA Program Supervisor Scorecard monthly and ensures completion for individuals on the team.
- Supervises, trains, supports and evaluates staff.
- Liaises with day programs, guardians, and case managers. Works closely with the IDT to ensure continuity of care between providers.
- Works harmoniously with and shows respect for employees, supervisors, vendors, county partners, and clients.
- Checks MORA email each shift, utilizes SharePoint and Teams as necessary to complete documentation and remain current on MORA and client information.
- Responsible for overall coordination and execution of medical and psychological appointments.
- Leads interdisciplinary team planning and meetings along with all program staff meetings.
- Provides leadership and shift supervision.
- Participates, attends and/or chairs committees, teams and/or focus groups as needed as assigned.
- Provides oversight for the planning and implementation of recreation, leisure, and community activities, including establishing and maintaining community relationships and facilitating friendships.
- Ensures adequate supervision of clients, including remaining on shift until a replacement employee arrives.
- Works closely with the Program Coordinator and Employee Scheduler to ensure that all shifts, including day program closures and PPL requests, are placed on the Work Schedule and are filled.
- Participates in MORA special events whenever able.
- Is present on-site for the majority of working hours.
- Works direct care shifts as needed and assists with daily cares, ADLs, behavioral and medical needs of clients.
